Brass Wing Nut DIN 351
The “wings” of this nut allow for greater leverage when tightening. Wing nuts are often used for assemblies which are put together or taken apart by hand, only finger pressure is required to tighten and un-tighten the nut. Commonly uses on motorcycles, boats, license plates.
Brass is composed of copper and zinc and is popularly used for corrosion resistance in wet environments. It is nonmagnetic and has high electrical conductivity. Common industries: furniture, electrical, communications and nautical.
